Collaboration between schools and enterprises to jointly cultivate new talents in AI design for the equipment industry

In the context of the deep empowerment of the manufacturing industry by artificial intelligence, how to cultivate new composite talents that adapt to the development of the industry is the key. Recently, Dajie Intelligent Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dajie Intelligent") and the School of Automotive Engineering at Hunan Industrial Vocational and Technical College reached a strategic cooperation intention for talent cultivation. The two sides will focus on the field of intelligent design of equipment such as molds, and jointly carry out talent training cooperation in response to new directions of industrial development and new demands for industry talents, injecting strong talent power into industrial upgrading.

Hunan Industrial Vocational College is the vocational college with the most comprehensive, largest scale, and longest history of equipment manufacturing majors in Hunan Province. Closely connecting with Hunan's pillar industries such as engineering machinery, intelligent manufacturing equipment, and intelligent and new energy vehicles, a distinctive professional group system with "equipment manufacturing majors as the main body and service equipment manufacturing as the support" has been formed, achieving the reputation of "Huangpu Military Academy for Hunan Equipment Manufacturing Technology and Skill Talents".

As a national specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprise, Dajie Intelligence focuses on the research and application of "artificial intelligence+" intelligent design systems. Pioneering a platform based intelligent design engine, we have developed a series of intelligent design systems based on professional big data and AI algorithms, solving the problems of relying on engineer experience and low design efficiency in complex equipment design. The platform based intelligent design system has been promoted and applied in various fields such as stamping, welding, injection molding, and die-casting.

 Both parties aim to jointly establish a new composite application talent training system for the mold industry, promote the deep integration of theoretical teaching and practical teaching, strengthen students' ability to integrate and apply knowledge of material forming and mold design, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, professional AI assisted software, etc., and take the lead in building a leading demonstration practice for new talent training in the mold field in China.

In the form of a "customized class", focusing on the direction of equipment intelligent design, a dual mentor co education model of "on campus teachers+enterprise experts" is adopted to achieve resonance between teaching quality and industry demand, fully connecting the entire process of talent cultivation from training planning, theoretical teaching, practical teaching, job internships, and formal employment, and committed to cultivating the most cutting-edge cross application composite talents in the industry.

As soon as the talent growth plan was announced, it received enthusiastic attention from students in the college, and the publicity meeting received dozens of active registrations the next day. In November, both parties will begin the systematic teaching of the first customized class, and by 2026, the first batch of new talents who have mastered the intelligent design ability of equipment will be delivered to the industry. With the effective implementation of customized training courses, we believe that a group of composite talents with solid professional foundations and the latest intelligent design capabilities will emerge here. In the coming years, they will become the backbone of the industry's intelligent transformation and help promote high-quality development of the industry.
